Delete your account and data

LoanDidi™, operated by 36 Forts Capital Private Limited  ·  Version 1.1  ·  Effective 15 October 2026

Credit, when life needs it.

This page explains how to ask us to delete your LoanDidi account and the data associated with it, exactly what is deleted, what we are required by law to keep, and how long the process takes. It applies to the LoanDidi mobile application and to www.loandidi.com, both operated by 36 Forts Capital Private Limited.

How to request deletion

You can make the request in any one of these three ways. You do not need to do more than one.

  1. In the LoanDidi app Open the app, go to the Profile tab, tap Chat with us and ask us to delete your account. Your request is logged immediately and you will receive an acknowledgement.
  2. By email Write to contact@loandidi.com with the subject line “Account deletion request”. Send it from your registered email address, or include your registered mobile number so that we can identify your account.
  3. By phone Call +91-9009003333 and ask our support team to raise an account deletion request. We will verify your identity before acting on it.

We verify every request before acting on it, so that nobody else can have your account deleted.

How long it takes

Before you request deletion

If you have an active or outstanding loan, we cannot delete your account until that loan is fully settled. A loan account must be maintained until closure, and your repayment obligations continue regardless of whether you use the app. Once the loan is closed, you may request deletion and we will process it.

Deleting your account does not cancel a loan, waive any amount due, or stop reporting to credit information companies that is required by law.

What is deleted

Once your request is processed, we delete the following from our active systems:

After deletion you will no longer be able to sign in, and the app will not hold any account for you.

What we are required to keep

As a regulated lending platform, we cannot delete everything. Indian law requires certain records to be preserved even after an account is closed. The table below sets out exactly what is retained, for how long, and why.

What is retainedHow longWhy
Loan records — sanction, agreement, Key Facts Statement, repayment schedule, payments made and amounts outstanding 8 years from full closure of the loan Required under RBI directions, tax and accounting law, and to resolve any future dispute about the loan
KYC records — identity and address verification records 10 years from the end of the relationship Required under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002 and the rules made under it, and RBI KYC directions
Transaction records — disbursal and repayment transactions 8 years Required under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002 and applicable tax law
Applications that were rejected, withdrawn or abandoned Up to 10 years from the date of application Audit, regulatory reporting and fraud prevention
Grievance and complaint records 5 years from the closure of the complaint Regulatory compliance and audit
Credit bureau reporting As prescribed by law Reporting of loan accounts and repayment conduct to credit information companies is mandatory under the Credit Information Companies (Regulation) Act, 2005, and cannot be withdrawn on request
Technical and security logs Up to 12 months, or longer if required for an ongoing investigation Security and fraud investigation

How retained records are handled

Records retained for the reasons above are access-restricted and kept only for legal, regulatory, audit and dispute-resolution purposes. They are never used to contact you, to market to you, or to assess you for a new product. At the end of the applicable retention period they are securely deleted or irreversibly anonymised.

Records relating to a loan sanctioned by our lending partner, Collocate Merchants Private Limited (NBFC, RBI Certificate of Registration No. B-05.05188), are also held by the Lender as the regulated entity that holds the loan, in accordance with the Lender’s own policy and applicable law.

If you change your mind

You may cancel a deletion request at any time before it is processed by writing to contact@loandidi.com. Once deletion is complete it cannot be reversed — you would need to register again as a new user, and you would need to complete KYC again.

Protect yourself

Our staff never collect cash, or ask for OTPs, passwords or card details. If anyone contacts you claiming to be from LoanDidi and asks for any of these, it is not us — please report it to contact@loandidi.com or call +91-9009003333.
